Hiring Range: $24.74 - 33.00 per hour.
Full Time Temporary; single health plan provided by WSI.
Minimum Qualifications
Requires licensure as a Registered Nurse by the North Dakota Board of Nursing or licensure in another state and meet the eligibility requirements for licensure in North Dakota
At least one year of patient care experience in rehabilitation, orthopedics, home health, community health and/or occupational health.
North Dakota licensure is a condition of employment and the employing agency will verify and document licensure upon appointment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Ability to work effectively, professionally, and courteously with others both internal and external to the organization;
Ability to effectively use PC software applications;
Must exhibit strong leadership and problem solving skills;
Must be dependable, organized, self-motivated, resourceful and flexible;
Must be able to work independently with little supervision.

Summary of Work
Manage a caseload average of 30 to 35 cases depending on severity.
Respond to catastrophic or complex injuries as requested by claims adjuster. Initiate contact with injured worker, treating physician and care providers in order to thoroughly report extent of injuries to the claims adjuster.
Conduct on-site visits to physician offices, physical therapy programs, hospitals, etc., to coordinate medical services for the injured worker, and assists in coordinating medically related services.
Serve as a medical resource to the claims adjuster, legal department, and Workforce Safety & Insurance employees and provides monthly reports to claims department on each case being managed documenting case progress.
Develops and files case management plan, correspondence and documentation and reviews and/or revises as needed for each case.
Provide professional level analysis of medical related information in client treatment, therapy medications, cost containment measures etc.
Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive and maintain a State vehicle.
Communicates clearly, effectively, and professionally to those internal and external to WSI.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
