Job Details: Works under the supervision of the Mail Center Supervisor.The Messenger/Clerk performs a variety of duties for the efficient operation of theMedicalCenterMailCenterandCopyCenter.
Education: High School Education.
Licensure: None Required.
Experience: Three to five years office experience.
Skills:Must be able to type 30 WPM, operate calculator, copy, and operate mailing equipment.Knowledge of postal regulations preferred.Have verbal ability to communicate clearly and effectively.Have effective hearing ability.
Interpersonal Skills: Relate well with staff, patient/families and visitors.Have ability to obtain and interpret for conduct and promotes and supports positive working relationships among staff.Maintain confidentiality.
Physical Effort: Ability to move from place to place for long periods required.Have ability to handle a medium effort requirement of up to 50 pounds infrequently and 25 pounds or less frequently.
Hours of Work: Day shift of Monday through Friday.
Exemption Status: Non-Exempt
Other: Works under the conditions of potential exposure to mechanical, electrical and infectious environmental hazards.Ability to perform effectively in stressful situations.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
