Our client, a manufacturing/logistics company, has great opportunities for welders. Randstad offers competitive pay and benefits. Successful candidates will be knowledgeable in the use of electric pulse wire feed equipment to weld together metal parts of products as instructed according to the instructions provided. These are entry level positions and we have training support to develop skill sets.
Working hours: 1st Shift 7:00AM 5:30PM (Monday through Thursday)
3rd Shift: 8:30PM 7:00AM
Sunday (PM) to Thursday (AM)
Primary job duties:
Perform set up duties ensuring welding equipment is ready for safe operation
Assemble work pieces together per written and verbal instructions
Safely operate and guide arc along weld line to ensure specified fusion depth
Inspect quality of weld to ensure specifications are met according to customer specifications
Clean and maintain equipment on a daily basis
Follow all safety rules and regulations and perform duties in an efficient manner
Qualified applicants will possess:
Ability to follow work instructions which will include specific methods and procedures
Must be able to work quickly to meet set deadlines while maintaining quality standards
Ability to read blueprints and build sheets is a plus
Capability of communicating effectively with peers and supervisory staff
Desire to learn additional skills, techniques and safety procedures through on-the-job and classroom training.
Minimal past welding experience acceptable as training can be provided
Robotics experience is a plus
