Preferred Qualifications
Work experience in a regulatory environment.
Work experience representing clients in administrative or judicial proceedings.
Work experience drafting letters, memos, complaints, notices, orders, briefs, and settlement documents.
Work experience examining witnesses and preparing and delivering oral arguments at hearings.
Legal expertise related to areas applicable to utility, environmental, mining, and grain warehousing issues.
Working knowledge of ND regulated gas, electric, and telecommunications utility operations, coal mining industry, and grain warehousing.
Work experience with case administration.
Work experience drafting administrative rules, proposed legislation, and rule and bill testimony.
Work experience investigating violations of laws and regulations.
Work experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
