Bismarck Cancer Center Position:
Summary:
To provide registration of all new patients to accommodate billing charges and filing claims with appropriate third party payees. Post all types of payments to the proper patient accounts. Handle collections regarding patient accounts Prepare the majority of other accounts receivable billing as directed and necessary Coordinate patient housing during their time of treatments This position must maintain good communication with staff in other areas of the business office to effectively provide support.
Primary Duties:
Register new patients during their initial visit Make sure all charges are resolved to be ready for billing on a weekly basis Receive all types of payments Prepare and submit all insurance claims Prepare appeals on all disputed charges Provide requested assistance to a patient to help file extra cancer/disability claims Prepare invoices for all inpatient charges and forward to each appropriate hospital and prepare other miscellaneous invoices.
Experience:
Prefer 2 years of previous accounts receivable experience in a medical office. Knowledge of day to day operation and services in a medical clinic is preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
