NA Manager Business Development - Event Services

o Work with various channels of business to develop and sell meeting and incentive opportunities
o Develop relationships within American Express channels
o Develop relationships with decision makers and procurement within our client base to earn the opportunity to manage or bid on their meetings and incentive requirements
o Respond to leads generated by marketing efforts
o Promote the benefits of American Express Meeting and Events and our competitive advantage
o Work closely with operations team to develop successful proposals to secure the meetings or incentives
o Work closely with Meeting Manager to manage the client relationship and provide account management securing a long lasting relationship with our clients
o Work together with operations team on the execution of programs, managing client expectations, overseeing program details, budget management
o Be a Subject Matter Expert in the EBE arena providing guidance to internal and external clients
o Maintain a sales pipeline thru our management tool
o Set up and complete the implementation of programs thru our management tool
o Reach revenue targets set out by management
o This role may be subject to additional background verification checks

o 4 year college degree required, MBA a plus
