Our Meetings & Events department provides expert advice, project leading, event management and servicing in all aspects of travel, meetings & events to American Express' customers globally. The Global Solutions and Partnerships team is focused on identifying new solutions, products, and partnerships that drive revenue and bring value to our clients. This is a great opportunity to drive business results through data analysis and insight delivery for the Meetings & Events Global Solutions and Partnerships team. Core to this role is the ability to demonstrate excellent project management skills as well as analytical skills and apply those in a business context. This role requires the ability to work with limited oversight and direction.
Job
Responsibilities:
o Supporting the project management of various product launches and technology implementations simultaneously
o Assisting the manager during all the stages of product development including innovation, development, deployment and driving adoption
o Track project scope and progress. Consolidate updates for multiple project work streams
o Creating and pulling reports from different systems, including CVENT, Survey systems and Financial Systems (i.e., Oracle)
o Consolidating and analyzing data
o Developing management dashboards
o Analyzing business trends
o Creating PPT presentations to present data analysis to leadership
o Developing and administering surveys for a variety of projects, such as capabilities of our non-proprietary partners and data for our annual forecast

Qualifications:
o Strong project management skills
o Strong organizational/time management skills and ability to effectively prioritize workload
o Proven ability to deliver high quality deliverables under tight deadlines
o Ability to think conceptually, using strong analytical skills
o Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to influence global audiences and varied mgmt levels
o Ability to keep thorough meeting minutes/notes and follow up
o Advanced ability to use excel
o Excellent analytical, problem solving skills and strategic thinking skills
o Strong core skills in data manipulation and preparation
o Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
o Continually assess processes to determine where improvements can be made
o Must be a team player, but have an ability to influence others without formal authority
o Must be able to manage projects independently and possess strong verbal and written communication skills
o Strong written and oral communication
o Advanced in PowerPoint
o Comfortable with detail and ability to summarize information into key insights, establish linkages to business strategy and objectives
o Self starter with ability to anticipate business needs and offer proactive recommendations
Educational requirement:
o Bachelors Degree required with a business focus. MBA Preferred
o Minimum 5 years of proven project managing and analytical experience working with large sets of data
