oArranging routine and complex domestic and international business travel for air, car, hotel, limo and rail.
oProviding consultative multi-country routings for best fares and preferred carrier usage.
oEnsuring optimum customer servicing while coordinating interdepartmental responsibilities.
oUtilizing Apollo GDS.
oUses positive telephone service techniques; act on special customer requests and maintain excellent client relations
Offer of employment with American Express is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background verification check, subject to applicable laws and regulations.
The Ideal Candidate will possess:
oMinimum of 2 years of recent corporate travel or airline reservation experience.
oGDS experience is required; Apollo experience is preferred.
oAt least 2 years of international experience is required.
oIn depth knowledge of world geography.
oProfessional written and verbal communication skills.
oAble to multi-task in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
oMust be highly productive in a self-directed work environment.
oMust be able to quickly learn and integrate policy and procedures; knowledge of American Express procedures is highly preferred.
oAvailable to work an on-call rotation at least once a month.
Due to the business needs, this person will provide on-location support to the client in Houston, TX.
