Summary:/ / Sunday through Wednesday, 8:30 PM - 7:00 AM/
The Quality Specialist will be responsible for outlining operational compliance to quality standards as it relates to an assembly line, manufacturing environment. This will include determining root causes of issues involved in packaged products for shipping, verification, some inventory control and providing corrective action measures to operations management team. Additional responsibilities include quality assurance, and continuous improvement. This person will communicate with several internal departments, as well as the customer. This position reports to the Quality Supervisor. /
Essential Functions:/ //
Technical Skills
o Quality Management System Knowledge

Experience understanding and interpreting SOPs and standard work instructions

Knowledge of methods to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction
o Warehouse Knowledge

Understanding of quality process integrity, cycle counting, and other quality requirements pertinent to the logistics field

General awareness of work flow in warehouse environment (receiving, shipping, storage)
o Computer Skills
Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and Access
Computer based WMS technology
Knowledge in performing metric reports
Behavioral Skills
o Communication

Written and verbal skills with peers, subordinates, management and customer

Able to use systematic approach in decision-making
