Harlow's School Bus Service is Hiring School Bus Drivers This Position Is Out Of Bismark, ND Starting Pay:
$23 Per Hour- Up To $4,000 Sign On Bonus Must Be At Least 21 Years of Age & Have A Valid Driver's License Must Have Or Be Willing To Obtain A Valid Class B CDL (WE PROVIDE TRAINING) Must Have Or Be Willing To Get Both Passenger & School Bus Endorsements (WE PROVIDE TRAINING) What We Offer:

Responsibilities:
Transport students in a timely manner to and from school and/or school activities while following district safety procedures and applicable State Board of Education rules and regulations.
Operate and safely drive a school bus in either good or adverse weather, road and traffic conditions while transporting passengers to school or special events.
Comply with traffic regulations while operating vehicles in a safe and courteous manner.
Communicate bus rules, safety and behavior requirements to passengers; and address improper behavior immediately while using appropriate interpersonal communication skills.
Communicate with student's parents to solve inappropriate or unsafe behavior utilizing strong interpersonal communication skills.
Assist students and passengers boarding and unloading the bus when necessary, including wheelchair students and adaptive equipment.
Inspect buses daily to identify and report deficiencies.
Perform vehicle maintenance procedures such as fluid and fuel levels, tire pressure checks, clean internal and external areas, install tire chains, and any other normal daily maintenance as required.
Regulate heating, lighting, and ventilating systems for passenger comfort.
Responsible for knowing rules, regulations (Federal, State and District) and laws concerning operation of a school bus; and comply with all traffic regulations.
Comply with DOT drug and alcohol testing requirements.
Complete all records and reports timely and accurately such as pre-trip, post trip, route logs, mileage, student counts, seating charts, student reports, time sheets, and stop arm violations and submit to Transportation Department.
Read maps, follow written and geographic directions according to route/trip logs.
Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
Operation of a two-way radio.
Maintain cleanliness to ensure safe operating conditions.
Responsible to work with Harlow's Safety Manager on the implementation and compliance of all DOT and OSHA rules and regulations.
Requirements:
