Summary of Position:
This position is Monday-Friday from 8:
00 AM - 4:
30 PM, but will vary with emergencies and/or weather events. The Maintenance Tech performs skilled technical work in the maintenance of the equipment and facilities at the wastewater treatment plant. This includes valves, pumps, motors, and control systems and building systems including electrical and HVAC, as well as grounds maintenance. Qualifications:
High school diploma (GED) and 1 year experience in repair and maintenance of water/wastewater or similar systems, which includes pumps, motors, electrical and HVAC or certificate/degree in maintenance related schooling. Special Requirements:
Must have the ability to obtain a valid ND Class A Commercial driver's license within the first year of hire. The inability to obtain this license would terminate employment. City of Bismarck Benefits SummaryAdditional Information:
