Job Description
The System Business Analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining Marketing and Trading analytics processes to monitor function performance in support of Cooperative business goals. The incumbent is also required to research, monitor, analyze and stay up to date with marketing trends, best practices, and organizational developments. In addition, the incumbent administers Marketing & Trading related application software systems.
Required Skills
This position requires continuous sitting, reaching, and use of keyboard/computer; frequent lifting up to 10 pounds; and occasional standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Requires finger dexterity and must be able to analyze data and reports and conduct research. Must travel to plant sites by plane or by operating a motor vehicle. Uses computer and other office equipment.
Required Experience
The incumbent must have a Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Accounting Information Systems, or Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business. Applicant must have 2 years of related business experience and a thorough knowledge of business practices and procedures, and a technical knowledge in a wide range of business functions and systems. Incumbent must have knowledge of the Cooperative s business philosophy and policies, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical and problem solving skills, strong interpersonal skills, experience with computer information systems, and a good working knowledge of relational database concepts. Extensive peronal computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. Software design, development, testing, maintenance and architecture experience are strongly desired. Experience with Allegro and MCG is also preferred.
