Job Description
Seeking one temporary employee to assist in the Engineering section at Headquarters. The incumbent must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Primary responsibility is to assist engineering staff on project assignments; verification of as-built conditions and subsequent drawing updates; development of P&ID's, basic design elements, equipment sizing, etc.; and generation of Tracking Reports.
This position is identified as a Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) related position which may allow physical and/or logical access to Bulk Electric System (BES) cyber related assets or systems. This position may allow access to privileged information relating to such assets or systems. This position will be required to strictly adhere to all Basin Electric policies, procedures, and programs applicable to the Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) requirements.
Required Skills
Frequent sitting and use of computer/keyboard, occasional standing, walking, stooping, climbing stairs and ladders, kneeling, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds. Requires good finger dexterity, ability to perform close work, good hearing and color vision and the ability to speak. Requires the ability to analyze data, conduct research, implement reccomendations, develop plans and goals, present information to others and work under pressure of time constraints. Exposed occasionally to dirt, dust, chemicals, and extreme heat and cold, vibration, noise, electrical risk, confined areas and working at heights up to 150 feet.
Required Experience
Requirements of this position are:
High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED or HSED)
Completion of sophomore year in the mechanical engineering curriculum
Good oral and written communication skills
Good interpersonal and organizational skills
Computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to work as part of a team
Occasional travel to BEPC facilities for project scoring, design, and construction

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
